The knodel foundation is a non-profit organisation with the aim of combating global problems. It supports projects that focus on giving people free access to knowledge, regardless of their origin, gender, colour, religion or other affiliations. The foundation is currently supporting about a dozen projects, mainly in Africa, but also in India, Iraq and in other parts of the world. The knodel foundation supports the development of off-grid solutions at the Safe-Hub in Gugulethu-Manenberg, ensuring that the Safe-Hub manages its ressources in a more sustainable manner.
