AMANDLA has established a research partnership with the University of Cape Town and contributes to its ‘Safety and Violence Initiative’ (SaVI). The objective of the initiative is to evaluate the long-term effects of the AMANDLA programme. In addition SaVI advises on the methods and tools for impact assessment.
