Safe-Hub has three major programs for youth and families in Kensington/Harrowgate. Click on each program for additional details and for information on how to register or get involved.
EduSoccer Program: Safe-Hub’s EduSoccer Program provides high-quality soccer programming that combines physical activity with skills development in areas like respect, teamwork, emotional management, and perseverance.
PlayMaker Program: Safe-Hub’s PlayMaker Program engages young people in on- and off-field skills-development activities to support future readiness for high school students. This program provides a paid opportunity for young people to gain skills and experience to support their career and/or further education goals—all through playing soccer.
Collective Impact Program: Safe-Hub partners with like-minded local community organizations to act as a resource hub for families to access support such as housing and utility assistance, food distribution, mental health support, and more at Safe-Hub programming.

The PlayMaker Program is a high-commitment program for high school students ages 14-18. Participants must be members of the Footskills FC team (twice-weekly training) and commit to attending additional days of off-field workshops. Players must apply and interview for the PlayMaker Program. Participants receive a stipend for involvement.

Safe-Hub’s Collective Impact Program supports a thriving collaborative space for local nonprofits, while ensuring that families are supported holistically, whatever the unique need.
